ANNOUNCEMENTS

Me and my wife Jane have quit our day jobs to take on the LCS full time, so there will be lots of changes in the coming weeks.

You might have noticed some changes already. Some advertising has been added to the site along with Google Ads, which generate revenue for the LCS when you click on them. I’ve also added the option to make a donation to the continual evolution of the site, that now along with it’s affiliated sites supports me, my wife Jane, my son and my 3 little dogs :).

If you enjoy the LCS or it has helped you in anyway your support would be greatly appreciated.

Now if enough of you made donations to support the LCS, I would be able to hire some office space and a team of staff and turn the LCS into a proper organisation that supports illustrators and promotes illustration and art relentlessly. The LCS is here to support and promote YOU! The site and LCS membership will continue to be and always will be free!

To allow me and my wife to work on the LCS full time and to make it financially viable to run numerous sites and projects relating to the LCS I’ve set up a hosting company. GiMUR.net is currently hosting 3 sites that support the LCS. I’ve opened an online Art prints and bookshop as another source of revenue for the LCS (there’s no stopping it). There’s some fantastic stuff for sale there. All hand picked by myself for display in the store. Check it out Shack29 and buy some cool stuff for you walls.

I’m adding a new section to the site it will include some top class illustrator’s personal RSS blog feeds. There will be a rigorous selection process, but I’m looking at the section holding maybe four or five feeds. If anyone would like to recommend any really good feeds for consideration send me an email.
