Robert Carter was born in St. Albans England, moving to Ontario, Canada at an early age. He graduated from the prestigious Sheridan College School of Art and Design in 2002. Robert’s unique sense of visual and conceptual problem solving has garnered him several awards and recognition, Including; Communication Arts, Applied Arts and Spectrum Art Award Annuals. Having a strong foundation in portraiture, figurative drawing and painting Robert utilizes a combination of accentuated colour and texture with subjects ranging from realistic to the surreal. Robert now lives and works in the small town of Baden, Ontario Canada.
