Can You Help?
Can you help? CAN YOU!
I am looking for artists who live in the Uk in my area or within the West Sussex region…yes, yes I know that there are loads, but I’m not interested in those who can do watercolours of Venice or kittens poking out of boots.
I’m looking for alternative artists, or low-brow artists or people who do stuff that doesn’t really fit into the regular category.
Why?
I’ll tell you.
One. I don’t want to be alone out here anymore.
Two. It would be nice to form some kind of art group that’s not full of middle aged women.
Three. I’d like to set up some kind of gallery type showing thing.
Please bare in mind I have no idea how to set up something like this, or have no financial backing…or even a venue but it’s something I’m very, very interested in.

Hi Rich, I’m in West Sussex and afraid to say I AM one of those middle aged women……turned 40 last week although I’m sure my birthdate is a big fat lie.
Anyway, there is a group in Worthing called RAG, the website is http://www.artistsandmakers.co.uk
They are a very active group with lots going on and very few are MIDDLE AGED WOMEN!!!
