
Phill Evans was announced joint first place in the 2008 Randolph Caldecott Society student illustration competition for his interpretation of the nursery rhyme “Sing A Song For Sixpence.” The Society, based in Chester in the U.K, is a group celebrating the work of the nineteenth century childrens illustrator.

Phill received his certificate, a cheque for £50 and a years membership of the Society at the launch of the graduate show at the North Wales School of Art & Design in Wrexham on Friday 30 May.
