Picnic Cre­ation Office (www.​pic​nic.la) announces an inter­na­tional com­pe­ti­tion in order to select illus­tra­tion projects. The com­pe­ti­tion is part of the activ­i­ties of INK 01. Inter­na­tional Illus­tra­tion Rally, which will be held in the Fundación Bilbao Arte Fun­dazioa on 15 and 16 May 2008. The Rally will end with the organ­i­sa­tion of an exhi­bi­tion from 16 May to 7 June 2008 and the pub­li­ca­tion of a cat­a­logue. INK 01. Inter­na­tional Illus­tra­tion Rally aims to be a ref­er­ence plat­form in the world of illus­tra­tion to facil­i­tate the rela­tion­ship between illus­tra­tors and cre­ators from dif­fer­ent coun­tries, a space to learn about the cur­rent sit­u­a­tion of world illus­tra­tion and in which to talk about and reflect upon its future.
