Being new to the art world, here’s a breif bio .

Zhang Jing (which is kind of odd with ‘Zhang’ is a surname and Jing is the first name ) , aka Mazakii is an illustrator, designer and dressmaker based in Guangzhou China, with her ambition to be the chief designer of Coco Chanel, replacing Karl Lagerfeld.

The time she practically commenced on digital art was in late 2005, with her initial purpose of being lazy and loath to go about the painting work, which sounds very absurd today. ‘all illustration homework can be done in no time , with the aid of computer’. It’s true.

Due to her major at university is fashion design , girls are the main subject of her artwork, and her works show a distinct fashion style, with exaggeratedly-proportioned female bodies, abnormal postures. Besides, she personally likes some well-matched colors and beautiful lines, as those you can see in her illustration.

PS: Mazakii loves eating and cooking (is a good cook) , sleeping , travelling (has travelled 14+ countries , from altitude -10m to 4900m , and still loves China the most) , photography (is a very active member in flickr.com) , and piano (used to be a wee pianist , with her several original pieces of music), is a Cantonese, Chinese, English speaker (in order) and currently learning Japanese. Since she is hoping to have a master degree course next year in UK or AUS , now is having IELTS course. She’s interested in Tibetan culture, Pschology and yoga .

John Galliano is her favorite artist. And National Geography is her favorite magazine.
