The Iditarod started Sunday, March 7, 2010.  Over 1150 miles stretch between Willow, Alaska and Nome, Alaska. This little pup can’t wait to join the family in a tradition that has lasted over 38 years.

This week’s Illustration Friday was “Perspective”.  Along with this piece, I wrote:

Rats have had a bad rap in history and literature. It’s unfortunate, as anyone who has owned a rat as a pet will tell you they are some of the most intelligent, loving pets you could have. They are clean, energetic, resourceful, smart, and caring. It’s just a matter of educating yourself and changing your perspective.
