Here’s how the piece started: pencil sketch of a dj and his turntables.

The background was put together in photoshop and the pencils laid on top.

Koleszar made his stencils of the city background and laid it on a board.

I enlarged my pencils on a xerox machine, placed them on a board, and used some transfer paper to get the sketch on the board.
