Giant Robot is proud to present Told You So, an art show by Jen Corace.
Jen Corace is a graduate of the Rhode Island School of Design who lives and works in Seattle, Washington. Corace’s work, which typically features young females, a subtle color palette, and a timeless quality, celebrates not nostalgia but the youthful moment itself. Corace has shown in galleries around the world including Tokyo, Los Angeles, New York, Seattle, and Portland, and has also provided illustrations for The Portland Mercury, Chronicle Books, and other commercial clients.
Told You So will feature 22 new pen and ink, watercolor, and acrylic pieces ranging from 11†x 14†to 18†x 24â€. Often depicting humans and nature intertwined or in combination, Corace says, “You are born into a set of circumstances that shape you before you even come into the world.
