I was invited by The Shop Floor Project to contribute a design to their Bauble 2 Exhibit, an online shop of custom made Christmas tree ornaments. So here’s PoppaXmas and the XmasPeeps. All together, they’re singing “Fa la la la”.

It seems the world wants the next US president to be Barack Obama, at least according to a new global poll conducted by Reader’s Digest.
I did a number of charts for the article. You can read more about them here.

The show just closed this week, but it was on the Ginza patform of Shibuya station, one of the busiest transit points anywhere in the world. Art Below has been buying ad space for art for the past few years in London (where it started) and this was their first foray into Tokyo. I was really pleased to part of the inuagural show. You can see more from the show here. You can buy (pretty please?) prints of my poster here.
And finally, you can see a (very) little movie of the thing below.

I’m tickled to announce that my NaniBird poster submission to Art Below Tokyo has been accepted(!) and will be on display in the Shibuya JR station the end of this month, from 8/25 to 9/1. Art Below Tokyo is the first foray by ArtBelow into Japan. They’ve been using ad space for art for several years in the London Underground and I’m excited to be part of the Japan launch.

About a year ago, I did the illustration and type work for a title sequence of a small, indie rom-com called ‘Heavy Petting’, about a man, the woman he loves and the dog that stands between them. I didn’t do any of the actual animation, I just provided the boards that then got brought to life in After Effects. The film was stuck in distribution limbo for well over a year, but now it’s finally making it’s way around the festival circuit. It’s really fun to see a drawing come to life. Makes me want to learn After Effects for myself… Along with the gazillion other things I’d like to do.
