For the first time, Islands Fold artist, Luke Ramsey has an extensive collection of work for sale with The Beholder. Based in San Francisco, The Beholder is an online gallery for contemporary artists selling affordable art. Luke’s proceeds will help fund his unpaid labour of love for Islands Fold.

The Mebemewebe is a project that spans three years of collaborative drawings by Luke and sixty-six other artists. This compilation was selected from hundreds of drawings used for the purpose of zines, posters, mail art, puffers and doodle jams. 2004-2007.

The Mebemewebe is a project that spans three years of collaborative drawings by Luke and sixty five other artists. The exhibition features work from this collection, plus photos and art from the Islands Fold archives. A limited edition zine that includes an original drawing from The Mebemewe, is available for this show. Local artists Ben Jacques, Nick Robins, Peter Taylor, Owen Plummer, Shayne Ehman, Mark DeLong and Luke collaborated on a mural for the exhibition.

Islands Fold Mural ” Disappearing on a Hill” by Justin B.Williams and Luke Ramsey. The mural is temporaily in storage at A/V Space in Rochester, NY. It is transportable.We are looking for a potential buyer, who would like to purchase the peice to have installed in a new home or venue. Curators are also welcome to conatct us if there is a gallery or museum to display this work. The muarl is built as a three tier wall. It is 32 feet in length and about 11 feet in height.
