A change is as good as a rest and a good rest can bring a change. I’m from a fine art back­ground, it may be appar­ent but my ven­tures into illus­tra­tion and illus­tra­tors have and  continues to be hugely stim­u­lat­ing and chal­leng­ing and has changed my approach right across the cre­ative spectrum. I some­times think that my fine art was merely wait­ing for the event of  illustration and the dig­i­tal appli­ca­tion that it demanded. All is equal. I love the impact of the mix and blurr that is appar­ently becom­ing an increas­ing phe­nom­e­non with cre­atives. See more…

Hi from London, I was recently invited to exhibit on the London Under­ground. I fig­ured it’s a per­fect show­case for illus­tra­tion, par­tic­u­larly the cut­ting edge and the sub­ver­sive vari­ety to which I aspire. I’m hold­ing out until the summer before I go ahead with this… Just my idea that that’s the time of max­i­mum impact. The rates range from rea­son­able to a bit of a squeeze but at least there’s options.
