Matthew Craven – Drawing from Summer

I have been doing lots of doodles for a book that I’m putting together at the end of this summer. My drawings so far are on my website and Facebook page.

I have been doing lots of doodles for a book that I’m putting together at the end of this summer. My drawings so far are on my website and Facebook page.

Pigs, monsters, abnormalities, vile families and awkward situations; all part of my current work in progress. I’m in the process of making a narrative piece and designing 3D sculpted models that should be available by the end of the summer.

I’m currently making mono-prints in my shed for a uni project over the summer. I am frequently updating my website with my newest efforts. The images are based my own photography and vintage snapshots.

I have just added photos of my recent 3D illustrations to my website crav.co.uk.

The first of a series of postcards I illustrated for the annual (except this year!) Gloucestershire Cheese Rolling & Wake. The design and layout of the series is based on what were essentially boring/pointless postcards of shopping centres and roundabouts I’ve collected dating from the late seventies/early eighties – my favorite era.
To see the full set, hopefully at a decent resolution some time soon, visit crav.co.uk.
