Andy Council has just finished this piece ‘Venetian Swan’ and it’s now up on his site along with a few other bits and bobs.
Quite a few things have been going on recently involving Mr.Council. The illustration book ‘Illusive 2 - Contemporary Illustration and it’s Context’ (Die Gestalten Verlag) has two pages featuring his work. Andy had an illustration in the Doodler section of the Guardian just after Christmas, which is also on his myspace page as a colouring competition! - myspace.com/andycouncil
Exhibition wise, Andy was part of the highly successful 12 Days of Xmas show - www.12daysofxmas.co.uk at the Old Bridewell Police Station, Bristol which featured the work of more than 70 of the world’s most loved and loathed contemporary urban artists. Following this he went on to do a live drawing battle with Graffiti Artist FLX at the club night ‘Weapon of Choice’ in Bristol and is now going on to do some window drawing at the Mauger Modern Art Gallery in Bath 17th January and at the offices of YCN in London 24th January!

Great Job! It does look massive with the small buildings as the swan!
it reminds me a bit of saul steinberg’s illustrations of the-city-to-the-horizon!
