Hosted by the Royal College of Art; YCN at RCA will present a showcase of some of the best emerging talent in Design, Illustration, Animation and Interactive Communication.
The event will present innovative new work to influential creative recruiters and commissioners.

Between 30th of August and 3rd of September selected work will be seen publicly and by figures from across the creative industries internationally. As well as being exhibited at the Royal College of Art, all selected work will appear in the pages of our annual Book.

YCN at RCA will also present all work to have been Commended as part of the most recent YCN Design & Communication Awards

The Deadline for submitting work to be considered for inclusion is 7th of July 2007.

While that sounds fantastic and everything, here’s the fun bit:

Create your own Embellishment.
Show Off artwork can be obtained for your own embellishing pleasure and we hope you will then send the end results to us for showcasing online and as part of the YCN at RCA private view.

You can have the artwork as an EPS file to work with on your computer. It will download as a small .zip file with an accompanying text file of guidelines. (Download available at their website)

Alternatively we can send you a postcard or two presenting an outline of the artwork on a nice uncoated board. If you’d rather this then please email your name and address to showoff@ycnonline.com - making the subject line Postcard Request. Once you’ve worked on it you can return it to us in the post; we’ll send our address with the postcards.
